The NSW and Cronulla Sharks Captain is a blue belt under Alex Prates at TP Gym in Caringbah, NSW. For the last few years, Gallen has spent his off-season training in the martial art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

On Saturday 28 January 2012 Robert Simpson and Jason Sinclair represented TP Gym at the comp. Rob got gold on the No Gi and 3rd place on Gi. Jason got gold on the Gi comp and 3rd place on the No Gi.

Trekko first UFC appearance will be February 15 at UFC on Fuel 1.

Saturday, 3 December 2011 our TP Gym/Sylvanvale team preformed their 4th public jiu-jitsu demonstration. It’s was a great day and a perfect performance. Mark, Graham and Victor are great Jiu-Jitsu students. We are very proud of them.
